yeah I know. Thought it would be fun anyway. Just one example is for my favorite team the Lightning he protected Mathieu Joseph which is not going to happen, but whatever

Apparently, The Hockey Guy is predicting that Toronto will re-up Freddie Andersen (!) before the expansion draft (!!) just so that the Maple Leafs will have to expose Jack Campbell (!!!).

I think that Colorado, Los Angeles and Tampa are all going to protect 4 defensemen to avoid exactly what we see here.

And I find it REALLY hard to believe that Kevin LaBanc and Alex Nylander will be available.

Seeing as he’s a prospect with no NHL time. I know McCann will be protected. The available players from the Penguins will be Tanev, Blueger, ZAR, Matheson, Riikola, Ruthwedel, DeSmith. Unless something crazy happens like Blueger takes over the 3C and scores 20 goals. But our team was decimated with injuries last year and Sully would not break up that 4th line. They played 3rd line minutes usually. Maybe he does it this year cause most likely he’ll lose one of those guys, but from everything coming out of pgh, as of now, Jankowski has the 1st shot at 3C.

Especially since SJS can leave Burns and Karlsson unprotected. And if Seattle takes either, they are doing them a favor.

Foote is eligible because he has played in the AHL for 2 years and will play in the NHL this year.

Perfect. Ya, I was wondering how Lafferty was available and not exempt for the Pens. But his AHL time, and 1 season with Pens, I guess makes him eligible too. Thanks!! That clears it up!!
