(Among players with >100 TOI)
Regular season
TOI/GP: 17:06 (6th among Flyers 7 D)
EV TOI GP: 16:37 (4th among Flyers 7 D)

Postseason
TOI/GP: 20:02 (4th among Flyers 7 D)
EV TOI/GP: 19:25 (1st among Flyers 7 D)

He is not a top pair defenseman right now but he can play on the top pair if needed.

I see hockey reference has your numbers, but weirdly the capfriendly "advanced" stat section has him only playing 16 minutes/game in the playoffs... Weird.

There must be a mistake then. That's from the NHL's website. Maybe CF didn't update it.

Solid deal for both sides. Very well deserved for Myers.

yeah its weird. I was about to argue with you because of CF's numbers, but I gave you the benefit of the doubt to check. Clearly you're right. Its weird.

This sets Ethan Bear's 3 year price at closer to $3M, probably around $2.8M. That's excellent value, although I still think Bear will sign a 1 year for <$1.5M and then a long-term deal for under $5M. Either way I'll be happy to see him signed.

Regular season
TOI/GP: 17:06 (6th among Flyers 7 D)

1. 24:50 (69 GP) = Ivan Provorov
2. 21:54 (68 GP) = Matt Niskanen
3. 20:22 (66 GP) = Erik Gustafsson
4. 20:09 (69 GP) = Travis Sanheim
5. 18:17 (42 GP) = Shayne Ghost
6. 17:16 (62 GP) = Justin Braun
7. 17:06 (50 GP) = Philippe Myers

I won't argue with the rest but he was definitely 7th.
All of those guys had well over 100 minutes played.

He's on the team now though. Which still puts Myers in 7th place going into this season.

It doesn't matter. He wasn't playing with the Flyers last year. You don't know if Gustafsson is playing those minutes with the Flyers. Hagg, Braun, Gostisbehere could also play less. It's irrelevant. Myers played second pair minutes last year and he will likely play first/second pair mins this season.

If even using your argument, he was 6th in minutes. He wasn't playing 2nd pair minutes.

No he was most 4th at even strength. " 2nd pair " means on the 2nd pairing and that's at even strength.
