Yeah absolute steal of a dump for the Oil, not likely. I think the Oil kick the can on getting Neal to Seattle to see what the price is, and if its too much they buy him out next summer since the buyout will be less than 2 mil per year, and useful when Neal's position on LW will be filled for the next three years by one of Kahun, Benson and even eventually Holloway at a pretty bargain price.

Agreed, considering the price Dubas paid to CAR to dump one year of Marleau's contract. That was pre-covid pricing too.
