Boston is definitely want a sweetener to take on MacDonagh’s whole salary so getting a 2 would not happen
All the RFA’s except Volkov take pay cuts?
Nashville bails us out with killorn?
This would be awesome but not seeing it.

I see Johnson having a bounce back year and not costing nearly as much to trade, Killorn is a solid player, cousins is a significant step down but in a flat cap the value makes sense.
No way Boston take that deal unless macdonagh balls out next season.
Was hoping the sharks swoop Goodrow at 1.4-1.6 so if you guys like him then I think we’re out.
still the ideas here are solid though I think the next player gone is more likely Stamkos and Johnson, that would set you guys up to revamp and and not go into cap hell again.

McDonagh has no motivation to waive his NTC for Boston. Plus Boston has no motivation to take him, unless Tampa retains, which defeats the purpose of the trade for Tampa,
Johnson better have a come back season, or else Seattle would have no interest in 5m X 3 contract despite any sweetener.
RFAs likely don't pay cuts, as they would be UFAs if Tampa doesn't offer more $$$

Cousins: it will probably cost at least a 3 to take Killorns salary . I don’t care much he balls that deal isn’t happening that 2 is going the other way at least

I seriously doubt Ron Francis has any interest in Tyler Johnson, McDonagh is absolutely going nowhere. And Nashville declines on the Alex Killorn trade.
