Description

Please give feedback, it's not lost on me that this is a tough trade to make and impossible while Columbus is rolling/winning -
if Columbus returns to the production they've had in past it becomes an option. Columbus gets a superior point producer (Foligno < Pacioretty) and with expansion coming returned value for a possible loss in Jenner.
Montreal gets an offensive center and a physical power-forward who can light the lamp.
DD is a cap dump obviously, 'Canes have a lot of room and are compensated for there troubles - otherwise we could send DD down and save the 2 mil and find the 500k somewhere else.

Idk why people are thinking it would be Patches and other assets for a good player and a couple of more assets. If they were to trade him, it's most likely going to be straight up quality for quality, as the Canadiens are in a win now mode.

Pretty sure Habs would target Landeskog more as both players are pretty comparable with one being more tructulant and the other more of a sniper but Duchene being able to play center might be enough to sway the Habs to do it. After Galchenyuk, this team is virtually non existent at center. Its depressing. DD and Pleky need to go.
