Ottawa didn’t want Andreas Johnsson when Leafs fans kept creating trades to send him to Ottawa, and we thought that was over when he ended up in New Jersey, but here you are, and Ottawa still doesn’t want him. If you don’t want a player, chances are other teams don’t want him either.

Here I was thinking, “man if I call Ottawa and tell them to make this trade, theyd definitely make it” but here you are.. to bring me back to reality. What was I thinking? Thanks sens guy, I almost thought I was a real Gm for a second, phew.

In all seriousness, Melnyk wouldn’t make any trade to make the sens better so you’re right.

By trading Bratt and Foote? Bratt doesn’t fit our scheme for the long haul, in 2 years when this is supposed to be, New Jersey’s will need big forwards to complement our skilled players not to mention for protection.

If we stick with nico and jack as our one two (no other way acceptable) and small wingers in goose yegor and bolts, we are going to need guys to lay the body and play the Pk, Tage and Foote are pretty much the same type of player just one is 2 years ahead.

Maybe going with kalikov over severson is what you’re referring to, but I can’t stand any more of Damon I’d take anyone. I know I’m not the only devils fan to think this.

Whether you want Damon out or not, you can get a heck of a lot more for him than Tage Thompson. Especially with Foote thrown in.

Devils shipping out Severson, Bratt, Foote and only getting back Tage Thompson, a 2nd, 3rd, and a 6th is such a joke lol.

I see you saying on another comment that NJ needs size and yet you give Gaudreau a ridiculous 8 x 9.5M deal? (you can also only go 7 years if you don't own the players rights)

And what on earth has Kyle Palmieri done to earn a 5 year deal at 6.5M AAV?!

I seriously hope this is a troll post because this is a disaster. thank god you're not the GM

This will reall get you guys going. My plan for the 2022 draft. Take all those 2nds trade for a 15-10 pick. Than take our two 1st’s Zacha trade for number 1 overall, draft bedard. Best centers in th game
