Have the Flames ever really tried Bennett higher up in like a Hyman type role for an extended period of time recently? Might help him get back some of that playoff intensity that seems to fade in the regular season?

Johnny+Mony are clicking well, no need to split that up. Markstrom’s also definitely not the problem but I also wouldn’t mind Rittich getting a game to get him into game sharpness and give Markstrom a day off (we just had 6 off so he’s probably still rested, but Rittich will probably get one of the next 2 or 3). I agree Mangiapane should stay in the top 6 when Dube’s back, he’s at least looking fast and skillful out there even though he lacks even a slight bit of finish. Simon and Bennett were okay on the forecheck today but no goals from Mang+Leivo+Bennett+Simon+Ryan+Nordstrom combined through 5 games is unacceptable, our bottom 6 needs to start producing. The PP can’t carry us all year. Luckily Johnny looks phenomenal or this season would be looking really bleak right now.

Start Rittich could be the worst take on this website and it’s full of absolute morons. Markstrom has been the best part of this team so far. Monny and Jonny are clicking, Simon can absolutely fly and looked good there, get Dube back with Tkachuk and Lindholm. Bennett Backlund Mangiapane. 4th line should be Lucic Ryan Gawdin
