I'd be willing to wager that when all is said and done, you'll have Caleb Jones instead of Oscar Klefbom.

Much better, I like it. I'd prefer getting a veteran 2C to play 3C - someone like Zajac, Stastny, Krejci or Staal - but if the Turris experiment continues as it has started I could see why you'd be gunshy about signing an older player who is approaching the cliff.

That Yamamoto deal is quite team-friendly, not sure he signs a $4M deal that runs 8 years. But a 3-year bridge would likely be cheaper and would give the team time to see what they have in Puljujarvi, Lavoie, Maksimov, etc.

What do you think of getzlaf? I also think Dylan Holloway could be in Edmonton mid season next year. They are also more likely to buy out turris than Neal next year.

I think Getzlaf will finish his career in Anaheim. Holloway could well be up by Christmas, but I think he's the perfect winger for McDavid, so that's where I'd have him. Turris finally seems to be getting up to speed and Tippet has found some wingers for him, I'd leave that one for 20-30 more games before making the call on a buyout.

I do like Krejci for that role, but he might cost to much

He'll be 35, I don't think he'll break the bank.
