McCann isn’t a mistake. I like getzlaf but he’s so slow

Yea, I think Getzalf and others waive their NTCs if they are going to legit contenders, for last shot at a Cup.

Getzlaf has no value to anyone but ANA at this point. He's a 35 year old rental. You aren't getting anything of value for him.

i'm going to be honest, i'm no pens-hater, but are they really a legit contender? i know sid and geno and letang and the like can do wizard-like things in the playoffs, and while it looks like they're likely going to qualify, i dont think they make it past the conference finals.

plus, with gmjr out, that adds a unique kink into everything, despite how competent allvin might be.

McCann isn't the mistake I was implying. Matheson is. McCann is fine, but they just need better. Getz is slow, but he brings a certain quality that the Pens need IMO and I'm sure he'll be hungry for another shot at the cup.

The issue with McCann and I think this is the problem he fell into in FLA is nobody has decided if he's a winger or a center. I think if a team just locked him into one position and let him run with that he'd be fine. Even that's what is happening now, I think he's just still kind of lost with the Pens. He needs a fresh start.

I think that like bleuger he's very poor in the face off circle and should stick to wing. McCann was really good on Crosby and Guentzels wing and it was also the last time Crosby had 100 pts. But its Sullivan so we never get to see good lines that worked, get reunited. The only sticker is guentzel and Crosby.

Definitely not, 2.8 is very fair for him. He’s been one of our best forwards this year and was really solid last year as well. He can get 40-50 points in a full year

I don't think that will happen its just the way he's deployed
