Flames fans will complain but I’m sorry you are overly high on Bennet. I still don’t think the leafs make this trade. Bennet will not be worth his QO and will not have a spot in the top 9 when Thornton and Robertson return... possibly not a spot in the lineup.

I would be willing to roll the dice on Bennett if Calgary retains some money as he has some upside being the 4th overall draft pick in the 2014 NHL Draft and a change of scenery might be a big win for him and the Leafs and strenthen bottom six for long Cup run this year......might even work his way up the line-up as fill in.

Ya we get you don't like Bennett cause he doesn't rack up points or show up for 82 games, yet he runs hot come crunch time. He's worth a mid 2nd ish. Here you get him with retention and for a cap dump! While dropping 20 spots in 2nd round. At least drop the 3rd
