Description

Bennet probably doesn't get traded and is selected by Seattle in the expansion.

Any trade for bennet will most likely be for a top 6 right shot fwd. Either C or RW.

I see sundqvist playing as a RW on either the 2nd or 3rd line if he gels with the team, if not then calgary gets a flexible depth player.

In return st Louis gets a gritty fwd that really shows up in playoffs. Great depth and a 5th rounder to boot.

All in all I think this is a very fair deal for both teams, and both team will remain under the cap.

No way St Louis does that trade. Bennett just isn't very good. If Bennett continues his play, he won't even be qualified as RFA, he'll be a UFA next summer Right now 2.15m cap hit is too much for a fourth liner

Not sure the Blues would do this just because we know what we have in Sundqvist and Bennett still is something of an enigma.

Blues love Sundqvist as he suits their system and locker room well. He's capable of playing up the lineup. Don't see this happening.
