I loosely equate Jarnkrok to a 2nd. I think NSH could use someone else in the pipeline... if his value is that marginal can just part with 2nd.


Vesalainen + 1st is Pulock range, not Pelech. Pelech is sound defensively, but he would not pull a return larger than Muzzin did a few years ago. Pelech probably wouldn't be a great guy to mvoe given how he only thrives with Pulock, but its important to differentiate the elite level player of that pair as Pulock, not Pelech. I am pretty confident he wouldn't pull a higher return that Toews (even here its quite equivalent as Gawanke is a decent defensive prospect).

Pelech is still a solid #2. Why would the isles trade a 26 year old top pairing D for a 2nd an a B level prospect
