Why would Minnesota take on Morgan frost? He's played 2 games. Wild aren't taking on Shane contract. Dumba ask is 1-2c, or high 1st with top c prospect

Because their C pool is iffy and Frost is a promising guy.

That is a beyond silly overpay for Gaudreau, especially considering Philly could wait a year to sign him in FA

Both of these trades strike me as overpays. I'd also think they should target a more defensive oriented player than Dumba

It looks like both Frost and Dumba are done for the year. I’d make this move pretty quick if I were the Wild. It’s also the framework for a deal Wild and Flyers fans have discussed for a few months and Botha sides seem to like it. The real problem is expansion, as both teams have 3 other defensemen they want to protect, as well as other forwards. Wouldn’t be surprised to see it after the expansion draft.

I’m always on the side of Flames shouldn’t let Gaudreau go unless it’s an overpay. This is a huuuge overpay. Way too much

I'd want a different prospect than Andrae, LD is crowded in MN. The deal isn't bad for MN. It's not quite what they are looking for, but it could work.

Maybe SEA picks up Ghost? MN can go 7-3-1 in the expansion draft with this trade.

Not a big deal either way. Soucy is nice to have, but he's stuck on the 3rd pair in MN. I'd really not like losing Greenway to SEA. I'm not sold on Frost, but I'd be willing to take a chance on him.

Brodin babysits Ghost for a season. Mennell/Addison get to cut their teeth in a more sheltered role.

I like how you say "Take on" morgan frost like he has a 10 mil contract, man is 21 and has looked decent/ ok in NHL in his short time
