I do not understand why they let Toffoli go. As soon as I heard MTL signed him and then got Anderson, I was like here comes a really good season.

Canucks fans always neglect to see the cap picture next year. Keeping him screws our odds of signing expiring RFAs.

yet that is not what your GM said on radio about two weeks ago. He said if he had more time he would have signed Toffoli because he did not want to let him go.

And what does he need more time for -- to clear cap... cap we didn't have. Its harder to move that cap then most think, so once the clock ran out, so did our chances. Without moving cap + having toffoli, next year's cap picture is screwed.

Did you read the title? 2020 Offseason and I'm pretty sure it's 2021 now.
