I think it is very unlikely that they would take on so many free agents. Don't forget the draft is after the season, so all those guys with "1" next to RFA or UFA will be free agents days after the expansion draft.

I'm going to guess this is an NHL 21 expansion draft...no way guys like Jokiharju and Lizotte aren't protected.

Yeah, they save malkin and Crosby no matter what. So my protection list is

F: Crosby, Malkin, Kapanen, Tanev, Zucker, Guentzel, Rust.

D: Letang, Dumo or Petterson, Marino (can he be taken?)

Marino is exempt.
So expose McCann, protect Zucker

Tbh it depends on how the new GM is going to do after this year. If were going into a rebuild then Zucker could be a trading piece letting us save McCann. But If were still trying to win then Zucker will be the one to protect. It just depends on how this year goes and how he GM handles it
