You better come off you cloud. Montreal will always be better with Eichel than Suzuki. You must be completely blinded to ever say otherwise.

Buf passes easily. If you need 8 pieces that just shows they aren't good enough.

Buffalo hasn't played for more than two weeks, so it is logical that he has more points. But Suzuki is a good player as a base for Eichel, assuming Jack asks for a trade, of course.

Have you watch Eichel play once?? because the fact that you keep arguying about Eichel being by far superior at Suzuki is simply amazing.

I know all about Buffalo recent Covid cancellation but that response was only for ... who think that Montreal doesnt gave anything valuable.

Byron's 3.4 for 3 years is gonna cost to move.. He's bad. Suzuki is good for sure, but little disingenuous to say more points when he's played 5 more games and Eichel is shooting 5% when he's a career 10% shooter. Those other pieces are good as well that you mentioned, but they are just prospects at this point. I also wouldn't call a second 2 years from now a good pick but that's just me.

Nice name calling when all I said was 8 pieces shouldn't ever be traded for 1 player. And if you do, more then likely it wouldn't work. IF Eichel is traded, drop all the dead weight you threw in and it's possible on the value front. But more then likely he'd be headed west

You aren't familiar with trade comparable. Wayne Gretzky, maybe that name remind you of someone. He wasn't even traded for the third of this package so if you want to have some credibility you better have some comparable to back up that horrible evaluation

Suzuki++ good start. Byron + Allen + Kulak only for cap space? Guhle + 1st too solid. Olofsson LD prospect and we have a lot of them, and there is also Guhle in the deal. Tuch or Mysak was a more appropriate option.

What's the equivalent to 33M in today's money as Wayne also netted 15M when he was traded?

    Sabres pass -
Kulak, Brett - Guhle, Kaiden - Olofsson, Jacob = 0 value for Buffalo
2021 1st round pick (MTL) - 2022 2nd round pick (MTL) = very little value for Buffalo, both would be late round and probably end up being depth players, Sabres have enough of those, on the off chance they hit on one, theyd be in the league years from now.
Allen, Jake = A little interest but in this context it adds 0 value
So its Suzuki and a bunch of stuff for Eichel, rather keep Eichel

Byron and Kulak are mainly cap purpose but Allen is not. He would help Buffalo to make transition with their young Fin goalie. Allen is a very valuable piece, he have been great for the past couple of season and is on a great cap situation for the next 2 season. Olofson is a 20 year old centerman, the Olofson that you think about is Gustav, this one is Jacob.

That was over 30 years ago LOL. Hockey is the best it has ever been right now and the talent is the best it has ever been. Eichel is going to be a top 10 center for the next 10 years. Suzuki is good but he is not going be on Eichel's level. Hence why you add a top prospect, a solid top 6 roster player, and high draft picks. People like you think your the GM of your favorite team and sit here all day monitoring trades.
