I said that the NHL hasn't confirmed his exemption status bc....they cant yet.. One would assume that the NHL would have to look into all his medical reports and assessments to rule him ineligible . If he is unable to get back to Cleveland to get treatment...they wont know his status or level or recovery, thus the NHL cant confirm the long term Legitimacy of his injury
