A 3rd to move Roussel is very reasonable and if Holtby plays half as good as he did last night it's pretty much a given he's gonna get taken by Seattle

Seattle has 31 NHL options at goal to make two or three selections. No reason to think Holtby is in that top three. Also Seattle can sign UFAs. 3.1m Roussel doesn't seem like good value when virtually all teams are cap strapped.

Edler is not waiving we all know that, if by chance he does waive VAN can get a much better return than that.

That cap hit (at least should) means nothing to rebuilding Detroit and expansion teams almost always have cap space: even the 'loaded' vegas expansion team had 6M free and Holtby would be similar to Vegas selecting Fleury in many ways
