Throw in Forbort so we can bury his ass in the ECHL where he belongs and you've got a deal

I've been saying he belongs there for the 4 years they had him on the top pair with poor Doughty!

He has been arguably our best and most consistent d-man this year (after pionk). That pair has been wonderful. Now chevy needs to go get JoMo a partner and this d...dare I say,..might actually be good.

I think the jets decline. They need to focus on gettting a big puckmoving rd for JoMo. That’s where they need to spend assets, not adding yet another forward.

And how many times does he turn over the puck or do something stupid with it in his own end? If he didn't have such stupid decision making in his own end, nobody would say he belongs in the ECHL. I know what I am talking about, I watch the guy for 5 straight seasons and it was miserable.

Look at how Doughty played before Forbort and after Forbort/Joakim Ryan/Hutton last season. For 4 straight years Doughty was paired with that guy then Ryan/Hutton and now he's got 13 points in 15 games now that he has a good D partner Anderson. Funny how that works when you play with someone who doesn't put you in situations where you have to bail him out multiple times a game.

He has some lapses yes but he’s a better option than what we’ve had in the spot since chiarot left. Obviously he’s not a top 4 d on most teams, but hes been playing consistently well with pionk. They just have good chemistry and he’s been playing good. In fact they both have. I don’t know how to explain it, but they just work. I know forbort is prone to mistakes but he’s not making a whole lot. As a jets fan, we’ve seen worse in that 2ld spot. Remeber, chiarot was the ckosest we even got to a top 4 ld on the second pairing since chiarot really.

I also thought the forbort signing was a terrible idea btw, but he’s just been great. I don’t have much bad to say about him. He has had a couple of bad games but overall, he’s been the rock pionk needs

Now we just need a guy like that for jomo
