I'm sure it will sound like a joke to anyone that hasn't watched the Blues this season, but Faulk not only has to be in this list, he has to be at or right next to the top of it. For reals.

I don’t care what Matthew’s is doing right now he isn’t better than MacKinnon. Now if you’re ranking them by production this year ok, but then where is Grubauer.

In MacKinnon's 5th season he broke out in a big way scoring his first 90 point season. In Matthews 4th season, he would have scored his first 90 point season had he played 82. This season he is on pace for 55 goals in 55 games. Prorate for a full season and he is on his way to a 120 point season in his 5th. At a certain point people are going to have to respect him for what he is. He's a beast at both ends of the ice and the best goal scorer in the game now. He's 3rd in the league in take aways as well. Proof he's a two way monster.

Tampa has beat up, Chicago, Detroit and Nashville but lost to Florida and Carolina. JFresh is rather far fetched

It’s number driven data not his opinion

His numbers are dubious at best. There is always some really good players how look terrible with him and some average players that look fantastic. I just don't see enough accuracy to trust him.

We’ve been through this. Matthew’s isn’t going to continue at this pace and he is going to play every season where he gets games against so many sad ass defenses. Your a Matthews fan boy give it rest.

But MacKinnon after starting so slow in his career broke out. Why can't Matthews? I don't think he's going to score 50 goals but 70+ points in 56 games which would be above 90 points over 82 is something I would be shocked if he didn't accomplish. Him being as good as MacKinnon doesn't take Way from Mack. It just means Matthews is dynamite as well.

I don’t disagree, and we’ve had this conversation before. If he scores 50 goals that would be amazing. Legit question for you though doesn’t it concern you that because of the schedule and divisions that the Leafs(any team really that’s good right now) are going to blitz through the regular season then in the final 4 play somebody so stylistically different than they have faced all year they don’t deal well with it?

Everyone is in the same boat though. It's a concern for everyone.
