why would you ever want Jeff Skinner? he's a healthy scratch in BUFFALO .. crappy Buffalo. he makes $9,000,000 against the cap for the next 6 years after this. Have you checked his offensive output ? 1 assist in 14 games. At least Vlasic has 2 assists and he's a dman. he has $2,000,000 less of a cap hit and 1 year less.
San Jose already has so much wasted cap space in Eric Karlsson & Martin Jones, why add Skinner to the mix.

Gee, I look at the Arvidsson trade. Seems like when the Leafs trade for either Granlund, Forsberg, or Ardvisson they have to add the the equivalent of 3 first rounders for just one player.
