Eriksson has 1yr left on his contract with a cap hit of $6M and that's somewhere between a 1st and a 2nd. At this point I'd say it's 1st he's only played 5 games and has 1 assist so him contributing on the ice isn't very likely and will just be another play Detroit has to juggle around. so let say one of those 2nds is for taking Eirksson's contract. That leaves Podkolzin and a 2nd for Bertuzzi. Bertuzzi is coming off back to 21 goal seasons and was on pace for 31 before his injury and that was calculated for a 56 game season. I'm sorry but that just isn't going to happen.

Canucks don't move JT for Nylander. JT plays with grit, truclunce, Nylander shy's away, JT back checks and plays better defensively, Nylander sometimes. JT goes to the dirty areas, Nylander plays on the outside.
Willis is exactly like his father, a very streaky scorer albeit Willie is more skilled, but still disappears a lot. For similar point production keep JT. JT is over a point per game with the Canucks, Nylander won't be near that production. Dubas I'm sure would be over the moon with that trade

VAN is not making any of these trades. Miller is not going anywhere, Pod and Hog are the future on the wings, the Buffalo trade does nothing for VAN.

No chance they trade Miller for Nylander. Check in Montour but probly change the deal. Canucks also arent trading Podkolzin

If that trade is on the table Buffalo takes it right now.
