I don't know what other 3c options to be honest. Mikael Granlund maybe? He's not really a centre any more appearently, but maybe since the leafs are rumoured to get him they'd try him at centre.
Drieger may get that, but goaltending is random and he might cool off. Rather spend that money on a another goalie like Ullmark or Riitch.
