Nashville declines. Not enough futures in return.

That doesn't get you Jack Eichel, I wouldn't give up Dylan Larkin for that.

If you took the pieces your offering for Eichel and included what your offering for Forsberg, Buffalo doesn't hang up right away.

Studnicka is the only thing the Sabres would be interested in

Eichel to Boston is not going to happen. Here is why.

Mac is the only piece that makes sense for Buffalo. B’s are not doing that. Makes them worse.

A deal this year would be something like Debrusk, Studnicka or Beeher, Urho, 1st, Kase, Moore. The last 2 to make $ work.

That is about the best Boston can offer without Mac or Carlo involved, it’s light. On a scale of 1-5 it’s bunch of 3’s.

NYR or LA with their top 5 prospect pools will have much more to offer than Boston’s bottom five prospect pool. And trading him out of division is a bonus.

Boston does not have the pieces to match other teams offers without getting worse in the process. Debrusk/Carlo/amd one of the center prospects maybe.

Bottom line. Eichel is not going to Boston.

Preds say no to that.
