Description

There's lots of talk of picking up a top 6 winger or a third line center, should we also look to bring in a starting goalie? I love Freddie he's been a rock for this team. However, last year was underwhelming and I think even this year he's been below par. He's 31, on the last year of his deal so we might make a change during the offseason anyways. However, with the way we're dominating the North division, this might be the best chance this team will ever get to win the cup so why not make a trade now. Only drawback I can think of is the 2 week quarantine, so if we trade Freddie, we need a healthy Campbell.

Arizona is looking to cut salary so if we take Kuemper and attach a pick or prospect maybe they're entertained.

Not sure if Buffalo would trade Ullmark even if they decide to blow it up because he's 27 so they might want to resign him. If they don't think they can resign him I think the Leafs should jump in and grab him.

Let Andersen walk and get someone to split time with Campbell... Mrazek or Bernier can do just as well (or better than) Andersen for a way lower cap hit

Andersen looked crap tonight. Goals 1 and 3 were easy saves, you just cant have that kind of a bullsh*t effort from him if you wanna go deep in the playoffs

I’ve been a Freddie loyalist until this year. I don’t know who would be an upgrade at this point that is actually available though

As a Sabres fan do you think they'll bring him back during the offseason. If not I think he's somebody we can target in free agency

I think they will try. But he’s been injured a lot in his career. So they may want to find a non injury prone goalie.

Before you go around making trade proposals for Darcy Kuemper, who has another season left on his contract after this one, perhaps you ought to go back and look at the trade by which you guys acquired Freddie Andersen ten days before his contract expired.

Its freddies 2nd game after being injured for 2 weeks relax people. Canucks had more desire to win than we did. Our top line looked out of sorts and the only lines trying were our bottom 6. Keefe will get them going by Tuesday not concerned
