Description

I’m going to embark on a journey where I play fantasy GM for each team this offseason. I don’t know why maybe I will enjoy the negativity and scorn that most users here love to shed on everyone, but it’s a little project I’m still going to love!

Notes: I have them drafting in the top 8 and taking Raty. Getzlaf resigns a short term deal for a hometown discount. Laughton signs a deal that takes him to 30 years old. Anaheim signs him because he’s still pretty young and he fits what they’re doing more than other UFAs who are already over or near 30. The Manson trade gives the Habs an upgrade over Mete and allows Romanov more growing time. Anaheim gets two picks to keep the rebuild going.

If you're going to dream, dream big -- sign Dougie Hamilton.

With only what we know right now, I'd prefer RW Fabian Lysell or RD Brandt Clarke to Aatu Raty. I'm sure things wil change by the summer.

He’s a 3rd liner at best. Ducks have plenty of those and you’re giving significant cap for a long time. Ducks need goal scorers not roster fillers.

I gotta agree, Laughton would be just another bad contract for not a lot talent.

No way Hinen gets resigned, they won't even play him now.

I can't see Rakell getting traded now... but he is only adding to his value.
