I dont think either team accepts.
However, I really like Lazar. Fair contract for this year and next. He is pretty good in the faceoff circle. He hits, which is something we lack. His takeaway to giveaway ratio is solid. Adding a right hand center could be very useful. Points arent amazing, but I still think he can be a solid 4th line C. I do think Buffalo may want a bit more though.

I respect the offer, because not many know about Maltsev...
But NJD will keep the big man.

I dont know.. the more I think about it.. the more the deal could work.. maybe they ask for a 4th but Im not sure he is worth that. I am just curious if BUF values Lazar more than a 5th + player. I think they may accept that if they dont think he is that important on their team.
