Krejci was extended before the 15 draft (before the season to be exact)

I think we need a ticker at the top of the page showing how many times a Boston ‘15 redo has been done.

That dead horse has been beaten to death, buried, dug up, and beat some more.

        It’s tired and it’s boring.

BTW krecji signed his last deal before that draft, so your assumption is incorrect and way over the cap.

Then again Chabot would just be getting a full time role this year had he been drafted by Boston. So his contract would not be bad. Most likely they would have traded him with Chara/Krug/Grizz there he would have been an expendable asset. And who knows what Barzal would have done playing on a 3rd line with crap wings. So maybe his contract wouldn’t be as big either. 🤷🏻‍♂️ But with Bergeron and Krejci locked in long term as top 6 centers they were NEVER going to take Barzal or any center with those picks. Their best play would have been Conner and Chabot then trade down with last pick a few spots with someone like Minnesota that could take Barzal while adding more draft capital. Then taking Boesser. Then there’s that JFK pick in the 2nd. Roope Hintz or Anthony Cirelli would be nice upgrade.

        Now about those Powerball numbers.

Bs also took Carlo and Lauzon who are pretty big pieces of the team, it happens but to draft 3 young everyday NHLers with more room to grow you gotta be a little satisfied with the draft (plus Vladar looks pretty damn good)
