Overpayment for Hall
Underpayment for Gibson

That wouldnt get you just Gibson, let alone Rakell with that retention, missing a lot of value going back to ANA

That is pure comedy... zero chance in the 7 hells that Dubas would make that Ducks deal

I love William Nylander, but I can tell you right now his value doesn't get both Gibson and Rackell. Andersen has no value right now. A .903 goalie on the final year of his deal has no value to ANH. Nylander beats the value of Rackell (younger, better player, higher producer), and probably by a lot, but not enough that they get Gibson, too. Not without major pick or prospect incentive.

A rebuilding team looking to get a lottery pick and ditch a long term contract would most definately find value in downgrading and having an expiring contract. And FYI... Nylander is better than Rackel by a lot but not enough to cover the the goalie differential
