Lmao no from NYI. We're not trading Wahlstrom and we're certainly not trading him within the division.

I'm not sure why Devils fans aren't understanding this.

This is laughable. You would have Lou quoting Randy Jackson from American idol.

“That’s gunna be a no from me dog”

Wally is not getting moved for rentals.

Also with Lee on LTIR cap is not really an issue. And 2 LW’s does not really help us. We need one good power forward LW, a depth center, and maybe a depth D man. They can trade us Palmeri for a second and take it.

From the islanders perspective , do you think it’s a good idea to move wahlstrom?

I totally agree with this. One LW is all we need (I've been wrapping my brain around Nick Foligno for a while), but I think a depth defenseman is more of a need than a depth center. We at least have Czarnik and Koivula for now.

Let me tell you what they'll say: "Yes, Palmieri is better than Wahlstrom now and your window is closing so you better pounce."

They'll be wrong, but that's what they'll say.

Not going to debate you on Aho vs Czarnik. It’s a toss up for me and Lou probably addresses this.

I would seriously debate saying Palmeri is better than Wahlstrom ATM. Palmeri has played very average this season and wally has been dominate his last 10 games.

A good way to keep your window open is to have a top 6 winger making 894 k for the next 3 seasons.

I think it’s possible people think that Lou can be taken advantage of, but last season Shero asked for wahlstrom in a trade for hall and the talks ended after that. The sens asked for Dobson in a sign and trade for stone . So I’m not sure what trade they’re going off of when Lou has given up top prospects for rentals.

For Devils fans would you trade: Janne Kuokkanen and a second for Josh Bailey because that is essentially what you guys keep offering the Islanders. I understand Palmari's contract has less term on it. I am comparing based on points, +/-, age, etc.

Palmieri is a RW
Just an idea.
Should feel good when another team wants your player.

I would trade Kuokkanen and a 2nd for Palmieri if I had just lost Anders Lee to injury and had a good chance of winning the cup. Wouldn’t for Bailey though.

I hope you're not comparing Kuokkanen to Wahlstrom. Kuokkanen has looked nice, but he's nowhere near Wahlstrom's level.
