Pens fans after one loss.. Why make all these trades??

cause its fun? the team needs to make moves soon with all these injuries piling up.

Yeah, but realistically, one trade for a C is probably the most likely thing and is enough. Maybe a 2nd player as insurance, but then waiving guys and possibly losing them will be an issue.

nobody is claiming players on waivers this year. if guys like Jake gardiner and others are passing through waivers pens don't have to worry about depth players being claimed

Guys like Gardiner and others are going unclaimed because teams have no $ due to the flat cap.. the cheap guys that get waived like Riikola/Ruhwedel have a high chance of getting claimed.

athanasiou and zadorov aren't bad options to consider, but having Glendening and Beagle as your 2nd and 3rd centers are never good. Might as well keep McCann and try him at 2C while Geno recovers

Teams with lots of cap space don’t want 5/6/7 dmen making 4+ million. But best believe if one that makes 1.2 million or less falls through waivers, they will get claimed. Just like the pens claimed Friedman.

Well teams with a lot of cap rather wait until teams pay them to take on players.. like DET did with Marc Staal.

Garbage for Luke Glendening at $900,000 Glendening > Riikola+Jankowski Detroit's 2021 6th round pick > Washington's 2021 7th round pick. Yeah Detroit easily passes.
