most players regressed. mittelstadt, ristolainen and mccabe improved (that is not saying much)

I agree Risto and McCabe have gotten better but we cannot keep bringing back the same players year in and year out. we know how they normally play. Mitts case i think is that he jsut worked hard in the offseason he actually looks like he can be solid top 6 player, i do not think Kruegers system is the case for him

i agree the coach sucks but the team doesnt look close to a contender to me on paper

however they are 5-4-2 with ullmark in net, 1-14-2 with our other goalies.

Eichel out/playing hurt, cozens out, mccabe out, girgensons out, ristolainen playing with an iron lung pretty much.

I know other teams face this stuff, but i think it casts a shadow over the team.

I also think he has destroyed some of our most important assets and hopefully we see them freed up (looking at dahlin and skinner directly)

if you showed me their top 6 in the offseason i would honestly think they have top 10 top 6 in the league if the coach actually put together decent lines

has Dahlin been a bit worse this year? Thats what ive heard some ppl say.

dahlin has regressed yes. I dont think kruegers system helped him at all and really stymied his talents.

with krueger, i dont think he put players in situations to succeed. like playing skinner on the 4th line with lazar and sheahan. playing dahlin heavy d zone minutes, not allowing for puck carrying etc.

he also doesnt have any good linemates. Maybe look at signing David Savard to be his partner or something.

will borgen is a perfect linemate and it took ristolainen almost dying, mccabes leg dying and other things to get a look at him. then he broke his hand

Kruger is helping them win the lottery this year, haha. He is gone after the season though. That is why it's not a fire sale because the team has lots of talent to build around. Maybe this was the plan to lower their RFA player values so they can sign Dahlin and Reinhart to cheaper long term deals, lol.
