hes one of the top scores in the entire NCAA and who will turn pro after his season with Michigan is done.

You can want a B prospect all you want with Freddie, but you arent getting a 3rd and a a good prospect that a team and fan base are trying to run out of town for being bad. Why would the Avs want to that when adding a back up to chill out behind Grubauer will cost must must less

Hes good, big Finnish forward playing in the NCAA and the driver of the offence for Minnesota who won the Big 10 bc of him. 14 goals in 22 games....tied for 2nd in the country for NCAA scoring behind Caulfield who has 17 goals

Why not? Isn't Francouz out the rest of the season? He's still a good goaltender, if he was a backup, he might be the best in the league as a backup.

why not...well bc hes not very good this year, and Francouz we dont know if hes out for the season or not, just that is out long term, no timeline on it.

And for back ups a 2nd is a gross overpayment at the TDL, they do not fetch that return, and that is what Freddie would be, so in no way is he getting a 2nd from the Avs to open doors on the beach for 90% of his time

and if Freddie is as good as you are claiming him to be still, then leafs would be desperate to get rid of him

Ok, then the leafs will be happy to keep him. Reminder Lehner got a second round pick, and Freddy more or less=Lehner (not quite, but it's close).

Lehner got a 2nd bc he was the starter in Vegas, they grabbed him bc MAF was bad and he was injured

Not at all the same situation, plus Lehner was lights out, Freddie is not

Ok. That would be his value and I'm certain the leafs aren't giving him up for less than that, but it's understandable the avs wouldn't pay a second.

Yeah Freddie isn't the answer to the Avs situation though you probably would get a second off somebody for him if their circumstances match.
