Leafs just lost Vesey to waivers. No way they trade Boyd, Barabanov and Galchenyuk. That would leave them with no depth.

Remember Robertson is coming back so is Simmonds and you can call up a Marlie to fill in. There are options, but Bert is the type of player we are lacking.

So let me get this straight 3 players 26, 27 and 27 years old who have zero value for a 25 year old RFA who is better than these 3 and a late 2nd and 4th. Please this is hot garbage.

Chucky is on his what 8th team.

Boys is what a 4th liner at best

Barabanov is at best a 3rd line.

Some Toronto fans think everyone is stupid.

This is a big NO.

Then you have to give to get. Not this crap. What do you think Wings are a feeder team for Leafs?

Oh for sure, I am only commenting to the guy saying they wouldn't do it. So dick comment about the feeder team aside, that was my point and have I ever given the impression I thought that? No.

Weird/dumb comment

Lack of depth kills in the playoffs.

I'm not disputing that at all. A team of creampuffs also kills in the playoffs so grit is needed too...unless you haven't been watching for the last decade. Then again you're not really depth if you can't play are you?

On this site I have seen alot of Leaf trades where they give up nothing and want a teams better players. Yes Toronto may want Bertuzzi and even may trade for him, but expecting to give up nothing and expecting the world makes people think that the league is just one big feeder system for Toronto. Just like if Wings thought they could trade Glendening, Erne and a 3rd for Nylander If you took offense, sorry, but I am tired of seeing Leaf fans thinking they can get something and giving up nothing. Canuck fans, Sabre fans or Shark fans thinking they can unload horrible contract in a cap era and giving nothing up to do so.

1st off I know how the site works thanks.

2nd I do read the titles.

3rd I can not have an opinion?

4th if I disagree I guess I am just suppose say nothing. This site is a debate of sorts. It is for the average hockey fan to go and fourth about proposed trades and acquisitions. My comment is that I see trades from other fan bases over and over again where several poster say never going to happen and then the next day there is another post with the same trade, like in one day it will change. That is what I am getting tired of, the same thing being rehashed again and again.
