Honestly...I'm not the one trying to be a troll...this was for all the whack comments I've been getting from people on here...FOR YEARS....my Patience is up with most of ya'll...I'm just giving what I get. So you too sir can kindly F-OFF!!!
The main post does increase value for WSH, in terms of Kuznetsov for Landeskog being a lateral move, and being able to trade Kuznetsov for value while signing Landeskog being a way to get something for nothing. I'm with you on that part. That's not even trolling, just smooth asset management.
Can you try to trust fans of other teams that say they do want Kuznetsov and will give something for him? This year a bunch of Caps fans want a late 1st from Minnesota for him, and that's a no. Okay.... last year you wanted to trade Kuznetsov and McMichael for Larkin and Glendening. https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/1897672 That was a no from Detroit, but it should be a bigger no from Washington. Kuznetsov is still outscoring Larkin on points/game and McMichael might, soon, too. If you want to trade sombeody, they're only going to end up traded to a team that needs them. Teams that need a top six C and have cap space and aren't looking to get all their guys to be 20 years old look like CBJ, Ana, Ott, Buf, and maybe a few Philly fans if the cap balances. Do with that what you want.
As for Kuznetsov playing on PP2, it's going to help the team's overall PP% if they have two real units, and Kuznetsov barely got the puck on unit 1, because Backstrom, Oshie, Carlson, and Ovechkin barely need any help. They could stick Panik at PP1L and build a better 2nd unit.
