I feel like IF Montreal could get Weber a cup this year he really would consider retirement.

Yeah I wasn't sure about that, I was looking for an older cheap center with good faceoff numbers but couldn't find one I would be willing to take on. So I settled on Blackwell without knowing anything more than his stats so far this year.

I don't think they would care about retaining half of one years worth of salary when they are getting 4 assets back. They are not in a cap crunch or competing for a cup yet anyhow.

Agree, NJ eats the cap hit & takes as many picks and prospects it can get.
