Description
Best we can do if we don't move McDonagh to Seattle. Not sure how to show Seattle taking Killorn and Johnson plus a pick, so traded them to Ana.

tears of joy They can buy half a bag of chips.

Also, Driedger probably gets overpaid somewhere else. Something like $3-3.5 mil for 2-3 years.

Half a half technically since they're already half empty

Driedger's a placeholder. Someone's going to be paid roughly $1.2m to carry Vasy's bags.

1) Dreidger gets more (somewhere else probably)
2) Gourde probably plays on line 2 . Colton and Joseph have played on the same line regularly for the last 2 seasons so why not keep the familiarity.add ABB and go with a kid line similar how the lightning did with young "triplets".
If McDonagh is still on the team Cernak is his partner
Bring back Domingue for 750k

Strangely, when I create AGMs, it's always hard to find a cheap backup goalie in this year's UFA class.
-Rinne recently said he'd only play in Nashville
-Elliott's likely staying in Philly
-Grubauer and Rask are likely staying with their respective team
-Miller, McElhinney and Anderson are probably retiring
-Mrazek, Reimer, Driedger, Raanta, Andersen, Ullmark, Halak, Rittich, Bernier won't be that cheap

So that leaves Brossoit, Dell, Nilsson if he ever plays again, and a bunch of waiver goalies like Comrie, Forsberg and Stalock.

I could see someone like Dell or Broissoit in Tampa. Very McElhenny-esque signing.

Lightning will lose one of Cernak, Sergachev, or Cirelli; for sure in 2 years. No chance they can keep all three.

Yeah, all your points are good.

I just have this dream of Stammer with Joseph, the kid causing havoc with speed up the boards and tireless retrieval, and Stamkos getting endless shots. Separately, we fell ass-backwards into the best value line in the league in our Cup run (and one of my favorite lines ever), and I think Colton's got the motor to be a poor man's Coleman.

I hate my fourth line, but you never know what might gel.

I do like your idea of taking a shot at another triplets line, though.

[Also, since I can't find a way to un-report: My apologies, I reported your post in what was meant to be a reply to it. Presumably the mods will see my error.]

Only if you assume we retain McDonagh through their next signing. If he's gone, plus two years of cap increases (flat cap again this summer, increase next year and increase year after that) is almost enough for raises to Cernak, Sergachev and Cirelli, plus Point the year before. It will probably come down to how much we can shave off of Palat's salary, and/or whether we get rid of him entirely in order to retain all four of those guys.
