I think both sides rather keep their guy. Bratt, Holtz, and Zacha all train together. Caufield is NHL ready, Holtz is 1-2 years away which would hurt the Habs

Altho Holtz is a fine prospect, why would MTL do this? Caufield is coming off of a near historic NCAA season whereas Holtz has been pretty underwhelming after his first year in the SHL he put up similar/better numbers than this years...

I think the value is close to fair, but it still doesn't really make sense for either side, but teams probably just keep their player.

I think Holtz would provide more value on Hughes' wing than Caulfield by adding size to a small line. I also think that he has a better shot.
