If they are moving on from Freddy - which I guess they are, I would be scared to roll the dice on a guy that has had injury issues and I think Kuemper would be looking for long term eventually too. So if we sweeten the pot and add Sandin and Kuemper is not healthy then we are really screwed.

But really only one word was changed so I am a little concerned that your couldn't deduce the intent of the reply.

My thought is Kuemper has another year on a super team friendly deal, no harm done by bringing him in for a Freddy who most likely won't be in Toronto's plans in the future. Sandin is too much to give up, AZ gets draft capital and a prospect to reload for a new window with young core.

I understand the risk, but you guys cannot wait more years. You have no years left with goaltending or Hyman and 1 year left with Morgan before your world implodes.

Spezza and Jumbo are financially keeping this team afloat and Joe is 50/50 at best on coming back.

Half of the draft capital/prospect is payment for taking Kerfoots contract which they know Toronto needs to move and will not do it free. So I maintain my disagreement with your deal. If Sandin is too much to give up then hope Freddy gets healthy.
