    Just curious as to why you’ve chosen this way with the 2.

    Personally, I’d trade McDonagh, and then have Seattle take Johnson. You’ll still have to pay for Johnson to be taken, but you can recoup the assets with a McDonagh trade. Also, Johnson is from the Seattle area so I think he’d waive to go play where he grew up. Every kids dream!

    Tampa won't lose McD most likely. They'll probably pay Seattle to take Johnson, trade Killorn, and let Coleman walk. Goodrow and Barre-Boulet most likely will take the spots of Killorn and Coleman above. The Lightning also won't be paying a backup G that much. They could work a deal to have Seattle take McD, but losing him is much worse for the team than losing one more middle 6 F. Tampa has plenty of depth on offense, not as much on defense.

    The 3.4 you gave Bernier and Merrill I'd split between 3 players, one of them being Goodrow
