Commit to the Youth

Created by: Tyler_A10
Team: 2020-21 Chicago Blackhawks
Initial Creation Date: Mar. 29, 2021
Published: Mar. 29, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Im done with the slow defense, Im done with this limbo between contending and not, we need to admit were not contenders and trade all the mediocre old players. This means bye Zadorov, bye Janmark, bye de Haan, give me picks and call up the youth.
Also I specifically removed Toews from LTIR to get to the cap floor and thats the only reason why.

Sidenote: I dont agree with all of these moves, but i wanted to show blowing it up

I think the trade for Vegas makes sense. But they can’t afford it

Like how much more exactly. Savoie is a stud and Oilers reject that deal as we can buy Neal out for 1.9 million. So its a no from the oilers

You could buy him out, but you would’ve already at this point. My deal has zero salary retained so a B+ prospect is probably the price to pay to get 5.7 off the books.

Easy decline for Boston. Lauzon has been fine and the Bruins would much rather have him instead of Zadorov.

It is still bad asset management and there is no chance the Oilers would go for that. The buyout is a way better option than trading a talented young player.

You cant buy out guys whenever you want. There is a week period when you can. We will see if he is bought out this summer. I would if I was Holland, but I am not. So if I am GM like on this site, yes I buy him out.
