What a needless trade with Arizona. You can get Hjalmarson for less than this and losing Liljegren for an injury prone goalie that may or may not be better than Andersen is wasteful.

Detroit isn't trading Ryan for a UFA and a 4th. Since Detroit is rebuilding and at the bottom of the standings so a player who is about to become a UFA HAS NO VALUE TO DETROIT. That's just common sense.

It's a ridiculous overpay to Arizona. And Halmarssopn and Kuemper are are IR.

Don't think you want Janmark on the bottom line. He's proven that he is more then a defensive forward this season, physical, fast, and can put up points. He'd be much better on the 3rd line but is IMO the type of player the Leafs should look to add.
