Description

Flyers sound like they want to get Bernier to help mentor Hart. They could just wait until the offseason and try to sign him as FA but I don't see a reason to harbor 3 NHL caliber goaltenders. Red wings get a late pick and Elliot who is decent enough to play.

There's nothing in it for Detroit here. They don't exactly need Elliott, and they gain little to no value for Bernier.

Would love for one of the 3 pay a 2nd and wings resign him in the offseason. I would almost guarantee they would rather trade greiss and resign bernier today but doubt that happens.
