Dallas is rumoured to be shopping Oleksiak so Jets trade for him... I would love to see a Stanley-Oleksiak paring but Stanley only has 3 games left until he’ll be able for expansion draft, so I doubt he’ll play much more

Stanley will be expansion draft eligible no matter how many games he plays, if the Jets don't want Seattle to take him they'll have to protect him or work out a trade with Francis.

I see what you're looking at, so it's 3 games remaining to meet the defence exposure requirements for WPG. Every team needs to meet the exposure criteria prior to the Expansion Draft. That 3 games remaining doesn't mean 3 games until he is exposed.

To make it a bit more clear, say as example Stanley doesn't play those 3 games, Seattle can still select him. That only means that he doesn't count as a player who meets the defence exposure requirements for Winnipeg. That doesn't really matter as we already have Beaulieu who meets the exposure requirements and will not be protected.

I really like the idea of adding oleksiak. Think Jets should make that deal ASAP. Make it the 2021 2nd and it’s a deal.
