Description

This team is going nowhere fast. Get what you can for guys like Halak and Kuraly, maybe even Kampfer or Tinordi. Not worth it to trade Krejci unless you can get a significant return. Use the rest of the season to evaluate goaltending & young forwards. This way if Vladar and Swayman show they are ready to some degree they can think about letting Rask walk or not. If not I’d give Rask two years max on his next contract. I think (hope) they’ve seen enough of the defense to know it’s not gonna work out. Going to need a lot of work in the off-season and this trade deadline will show if Sweeney knows what’s going on or not.

Halak would instantly become the best goalie available if the bruins decide to sell. Nobody figured barclay goodrow would net a 1st but it still happened

Ah yes the Barclay Goodrow argument because TBL is using one of the best players in the league on LTIR to stay compliant. The Avs will probably be willing to part with the 1st but for a guy that is going to play 4 games max, and they don’t have TBL cap problems that’s some wishful thinking.

The Bruins have the second-best goals against in the league. That defence might be alright. And yes, Mr. 0.916 SV% would get you a first. It's not all doom and gloom for Boston; they just need some goals.

Lay off the weed. Starting goalies don’t get much in trade. Backups...even less.

3rd is realistic. 2nd if someone is deperate.

4th for Kuraly is about right. But Canes have no use for him.
