If he pots 5-10 more and keeps up his .75 per game pace, does he fetch a 22 1st rounder? 21 and 22 2’s? What happens if Arizona eats half salary what are teams thinking then? Love to hear thoughts

If 50% retained AND If he keeps a 0.65 pts/GP, some teams could be willing to send a late 1st. More likely a high 2nd.

I think Arizona would be comfortable swimming in those waters. 3.4 mil for someone who could put up 50 points on a contender I felt would be valuable but I wasn’t sure what the league might view that as

I cringe thinking the Leafs are still covering a portion of his salary......

Assuming that there is 50% retention, I would think that he has some value. One thing that should be noted is that he is a proven playoff performer. This will be a very important factor for GMs.
