I think Amirov and Foote are similar. Amirov higher ceiling, lower floor.
Mercer may be better than both.
Mukhamadullin ... ?? Who knows what he is. Need to see him in some best-vs-best competitions. I’d take Sandin over him today.

Wood has more term. And was injured for most of last year.
Coleman has him on versatility (plays PK, PP, both sides, any line). Wood has edge on size, speed, toughness.

Oh Wood has more term, for some reason I didn't think that.
Still, I'd be cautious to pay a 1st round level prospect and a first for him.
There would have to be retention for him to get that, and even then since he's not better than Coleman I doubt it even then.

problem is amirov is WAY better than foote and mercer and sandin is way better than Muk at this time. sorry man, but i heavily disagree here. hopefully a week from now one of us can look back at this and laugh lol

I am not a too high on Foote compared to the experts and insiders, but way better is a stretch. TSN rankings have Foote higher than Amirov, and he would be significantly higher in last year's list. I like amirov and I see a lot of potential there. On upside alone, its kinda of close, maybe a slight edge to Amirov in my book. In terms of NHL readiness and likelihood of being a full time NHLer in the near future Foote runs away with it.

He is also RFA at expiry.

Still, he's clearly not as good as Coleman. Not worth quite as much.

Way wrong on Kulikov
Palms and Wood are on target
No need for Wedgewood but he's better than your suggesting
I'm watching Leafs now and Kerfoot is a rag doll, I'm not impressed

Kulikov isn't good. Any team giving up more than a 5th is overpaying. But I guess we will see, I'm expecting a 5th or 6th for him

they are different players but I think coleman is better. still hes worth more than blake coleman to almost any team in this league. Perhaps VGK and Tampa being the only exception, where his need for a new contract would cause problems retaining more important players. The fact that he is an RFA basically means you get him for another contract, and he will have limited bargaining power. 2 years at the very least, likely 4+. Coleman will be a 30 year old UFA signing when the season starts in 2021-2022 and TBL knows they cant afford to re-sign him. miles wood is 25.

Oh, I know what an RFA is.
But I'm just saying he's a clear step behind Coleman. Just because a player's contract situation is better does not mean you completely ignore the fact he's not as good.

All those guys wouldn’t get Smith alone.
If you think Miles Wood can be had for a 2nd, Kulikov for 6th...I just don’t know what to tell you. Stay away from video games, I guess.

You are blinded by your bias. Those Devils players are not fetching those returns. Take a look at Kulikov's advanced stats for example and you will clearly see he is not a good player: https://www.hockey-reference.com/players/k/kulikdm01-advanced.html

Kulikov career Corsi = 48%
Maatta career Corsi = 50.1% https://www.hockey-reference.com/players/m/maattol01.html

Maatta is widely regarded as a bad player, and yet he is still better than Kulikov
