On the cost, Friedman made a general point about 1st round picks being hard to come by this year. Hradek followed up with specific point about the Devils would able to land one with Palmieri.

This is all the same conversation as last year Hall. Everyone said Hall would get no more than Stone package. No 1st.

Idk I guess we’ll see. I think the shortened season does bring the value down. For example, hall played 35 games for the coyotes last season and would of played close to 50 if the season wasn’t shortened. If hall was to be traded to a Canadian team he would play like 10 games or 15 games for a US team.

I'm surprised Toronto is in on him and is one of the 5 teams left in the bidding. NJ must have talked to him and he said sure about the 5 teams cause I thought every Canadian team was on his list of teams he did not want to be traded to
