Habs shut that phone call down, Armia is so under-rated even to Habs fans. Worth so much more than a 7th and a 3rd!
Start with a 1st in 2022 and then they talk.

You're crazy if you believe that he's going for a first. With the addition of Caulfield, the Canadiens have so much wing depth that they have no use for Armia. It's not just about player value, but also leverage. And even just based on player value, he is not worth a first...

Hence the reason I stated under-rated. Half the Habs had career year last season and Armia was one of them, in 20 less games. Drafted 1st round; 16th overall. He has excellent puck possession skills and can score. Not easily moved off the puck ala Drouin. Bump him and he falls. At 6Ft4 213 lbs. he would fetch a 1st on the right team. Not saying every team! Definitely worth more than the trade above!

We have zero interest in Rikkola. and getting a 4th just so you could flip to MTL doesn't do anything for the blues
