Description

LMK Wings fans if you would do this, also to all the GM's out there tell me how you feel about the term and value of the deals.

I signed Petey and Hughes for bridge deals that I think they would take.

Bought out Holts as I am not sure he is NHL calibre anymore.

Signed the NHL FA big fish in Dougie Hamilton. He will need to be over payed to play, especially if I am trying to pry him away from CAR.

Traded away Myers and Juolevi as I see that they are not being used in the way that they could. Going to a place like Detroit would be mutually beneficial as we would be able to get cap space. they would get 2 solid D and leadership.

I think that Jake would be taken in the expansion draft so I allowed that to take its course.

Finally I brought up a few of our young guns to play as I believe that they are ready for the show.

Nucks fans LMK what you think, I am open to changing things if you think that it wont happen.

It would take a lot more to move Myers. I would consider him immovable.

Detroit could be nice and let Van keep their former 5 OA and take a former 40 OA instead. It's the least they could do for retention...

At this point Juolevi is maybe a 2nd pair defenseman and that doesn't even cover Meyers contract and it definitely doesn't get you a 2nd and a 3rd in the same draft.

I don't see why Det would want Myers at 6 mil when they could have Hamilton for 2 mil more. Them giving up picks to obtain Myers is also unimaginable .

Detroit will be running some combo of Hronek, Seider, and Stetcher at RD next year. Myers’s contract is gross and would cost a hefty sum to move and Benning already said he wouldn’t. The best cap move between the team would be Eriksson and that would require his approval (NTC) and still a good asset (not Juolevi).
